Britannia Building Society: Mortgages and Remortgages
Brittania is the UK's 2nd largest Building Society and wants to be known as Britain's best mutual, committed to putting its customers first. This shows in the awards that have been presented to various areas of the Britannia Group. Amongst others, these include awards for Britannia's people, products, subsidiaries and community.
Britannia offers a choice of mortgages to suit all kinds of financial requirements: fixed-rate, flexible, offset, and tracker mortgages with competitive interest rates. A flexible mortgage could be an appealing choice. The Britannia flexible mortgage tracks the Bank of England base rate as well as allowing you to reduce your payments, increase them or even take a payment holiday.
Use our simple
loan form or
mortgage form to talk with a financial adviser to see if Britannia loans or mortgages could be right for you. Every year a share of Britannia's profits goes straight to its members. With a Britannia mortgage, loan or savings account you'll be eligible to earn Membership Reward points which save you money.
When you take out a mortgage or open a qualifying savings account, you're a member, and therefore become eligible to earn Britannia's unique Membership Reward. Once you've been a member for two years, you'll start to earn reward points on every qualifying Britannia product you have. After 5 years of membership Britannia will increase your reward by 50% and after 10 years Britannia will double it. The best thing is whenever you take out new Britannia products, after being a member for over 5 years or 10 years, you'll earn the higher level of rewards on those products too.
Britannia's purpose is to make membership worthwhile for its three million members. Unlike many shareholder-owned companies, profit is not its only measure of success. Britannia has been around since 1856 known then as Leek & Moorlands. A series of mergers since has created the Britannia you know today.
